Dan
Deming
(Artistic Associate)
Originating from Nashville, Dan is the Vampire Cowboys'
Artistic Associate.
He has been in Vampire Cowboy productions of A
Beginner’s Guide to Deicide, as well
as the original, NY premiere, and NYC Fringe 2004 productions
of Vampire Cowboy Trilogy. In
addition, Dan has represented Vampire Cowboys at VCTC's
Revamped 2005 and Revamped
2006; Center Stage's Open 24
Hours, and Partial Comfort Productions'
Battle of the Bards.
Other NYC credits include: Qui Nguyen's Slicing
Andre at Ensemble Studio Theatre; a staged
reading of China Doll for Pan
Asian Repertory Theatre; and in the role of Jack in The
Kung Fu Importance of Being Earnest directed
by Michael Gardner at The Brick Theater.
Dan composed original music, including The Vampire
Cowboys Theme Song, for the NY and NYC Fringe 2004
productions of Vampire Cowboy Trilogy,
several songs in A Beginner's Guide to Deicide,
and original songs for Living Dead in Denmark
which garnered him a nomination for Best Original Music
by the 2006 New York Innovative Theatre Awards. Most recently,
Dan finished work with Temar
Underwood on the LP, Ad Lib To Fade.
Dan holds two bachelor degrees in Classics and Theatre
from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College.
