Andrea
Marie Smith

Originally from
Tennessee, Andrea is an Artistic Associate for Vampire
Cowboys.
For
VCTC, Andrea has performed in the New York premiere and
2004 New York International Fringe Festival productions
of Vampire Cowboy Trilogy, the
world premiere of Living Dead in Denmark,
and played the lead in the NY premiere of A
Beginner's Guide to Deicide. In addition,
Andrea has represented Vampire Cowboys at The
2007 New York Comic Con; VCTC's Revamped
2005 and Revamped 2006;
Lady Cavaliers' Fighting the Clock,
Center Stage's Open 24 Hours,
Partial Comfort Productions' Battle of the
Bards; and The 2006 New York
Innovative Theatre Awards Ceremony. Other
NYC credits include Qui Nguyen’s Slicing
Andre at Ensemble Studio Theatre’s
Octoberfest; Fever Pitch’s St. Hollywood
at PS122; Roi Escudero's La Playa;
Picasso at the Lapin Agile for T. Schreiber
Studios, and the role of Cecily in The Kung
Fu Importance of Being Earnest directed
by Michael Gardner for The Brick Theater.
As a resident artist in the Monomoy Theatre Company for
two years, Andrea has performed in various roles including
Lady Teazle in The School for Scandal,
Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest,
Phoebe in As You Like It, as
well as many others.
Her film credits include Iron Pocket,
A Letter From the Past, and Wunderwrap.
Andrea
has a B.F.A. in theatre performance from Ohio University
where she portrayed characters ranging from Desdemona
in Goodnight, Desdemona (Good Morning, Juliet)
to Patty in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
